I'm glad they're staying. The UK without Scotland would be really odd. Both sides campaigned long and hard but I think uncertainties over things like currency made people vote No. Our family is staying united.

I am ashamed by tonight. Completely. Wait until the morning, and we will seen if the papers can protray whats happened. From narrow minded yes voters, now to the idoits within football, Rangers mostly, and outwith football rioting in the streets of Glasgow.

On whats supposed to be a proud day - we have embarrassed ourselves.

To be fair Cammy, most of the violence probably came from the Orange Order people who are loyalists and, it's by chance, they're also #VoteNo people too.

I dont mean it like that Ivar.

By narrow minded I mean following up on the abuse I have recieved for casting my no vote. Its as if my beliefs and reasons for a no vote have been casted aside and I have been branded British scum, I am a disgrace to my country and I am not Scottish.

Also, with the goings on last night, I completely agreed it was caused by no voters. Without a doubt. I wouldn't suggest the Orange Order were involved last night, many knuckle dragging Rangers fans associate themselves with it unofficially. Horrible scenes for a country that was standing for unity, yet we are going into the dark ages..

Then I understand, there's always dicks on both sides of every political issue. Yes-people voting yes just for fun, and no-people voting no because they fell for the English banks "propaganda", which turned out to be complete bull.

I have no idea who the Orange Order is, or what have happend regarding riots of whatever, someone enlighten me?

The only reason people voted no?

Of course not. But seemed for many to be the most important issue.

The British banks' estimate for an independent Scottish economy. American and banks of other nations have said that those estimates were highly exaggerated.

I think Scots were more concerned about things like what currency they'd use. There was never a good answer and there was a lot of uncertainty. Banks said they'd move their HQs down south, our nuclear weapons would've moved down - both resulting in job losses. The No campaign was good at making things seem uncertain but I think they were right to. Scots needed an answer about the currency.

They could just make up their own currency if England wouldn't let them use their own. Scottish dollars, or flompyhops or whatever.

The Scots don't want your nukes, and because of jobs it's bad to not have them anymore. I think Scotland would recover from that.

But how strong would a brand new currency be when it's first brought in? I'm not an expert obviously, I'm curious

Depends on the economy of the country. If Somalia starts making up a new one it wouldn't be too great.
