"Best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter."
Nice

The future of our EU relationship will be decided again by the Conservative Party. If Theresa May wins, she's likely to want to continue freedom of movement. If Gove wins then we're completely breaking away...

You shouldn't give Marius a "Nice!" for things Churchill said!

Also, please make democracy great again. Force people to school more. If you completly break away, how do you thing that will work out with Premier League-players work permits? I also hope you close your borders and TV-signals from Norway, so the love for England will die in Norway. Then I will be fine with the Brexit even though you're making the world a shittier place.

Perhaps people like the fact foreign players might have to get work permits - more available players for England to choose from then...

I'm not a voter. What shocks me is that 75% of people who could vote did. That means more people care if we are in the EU than actually runs the country...

That's the scary part of all this. Doesn't seem like people are exactly flocking to take over either.

I think people have a misconception that "voting doesn't matter" when it comes to running a country because "they are all the same and makes no difference", that's just extremely stupid. For the EU vot eit seems 25% of voters would have voted "I don't wanr to leave the EU, but it should reform and also fuck off Cameron"

I hate to say it but it really bugs me when people don't vote. Why not use your vote!? People in some countries don't have the right and all you have to do is pick someone/something every year or so!

There were five candidates to take over Cameron's job but tonight it's down to three. I wouldn't say they're "flocking to take over" but it would have been silly to have a whole list of candidates! A lot of them are backing Theresa May anyway.

You get the option to vote. I disagree with the notion that people should vote irregardless. You should be thankful, because your vote now means more!

But the vote as a whole means less. Voting blank is better than not voting.

Theresa May v Andrea Leadsom for Prime Minister then. One is a Remainer and the other is Brexiteer.

Parliament must vote on Article 50. It won't stop it happening.

MPs have backed legislation, allowing Theresa May to start negotiations on how The United Kingdom will leave The European Union.

498 in favour as 114 were opposed.

A formality really. MPs weren't really going to go against the will of the people.

The will of the power that were blinded by falsehoods and lies. Ah well, we've got a few years until we actually leave.

And there's a surprise that I had foretold! :D

But it's true though. Most people who now know what has happened will want to change their vote but can't, that bit of hindsight would have been good against the blindness and false information they were being fed by the media - a reason why you should never believe anything on TV.
