Well, that I'm glad for!

Would it help if we went down there to drink a lot of beer?

That's true. I'm up for a holiday to Athens anyway!

Twitter:
Greece won the 2004 Euros.
Greece would now be lucky to have 2004 euros.

Weird when Tsipras and his government say no to the bailout conditions, then accept harsh ones and then encourage the parliament to vote for something they say they don't believe in.

How long will Syriza last? Elections near the end of the year apparently. To Tsipras' credit, he's in an impossible position!

I think we'll go for two elections in a row. Tough to form coalitions as it is right now, and Syriza might lose 2-3% because of the split of the party.

No matter who's on charge, fiscal policy is limited by the memorandum of understanding between us and the EU. However, beating corruption was the main point of his campaign, I hope he can pull it off!

I didn't think he'd be voted back in quite that fashion. I thought he would have lost so many seats...

Talked to a guy on work a month ago, he said that there was no wonder why Greece struggled. He called Greeks one of the most lazy type of people and they do anything to avoid taxes, haha!

Some of the Greeks... Every country has some people who do that and others who are hard workers, pay their taxes etc.
I try hard not to overgeneralise such stuff. For example they say northerners are wary of contact before they get acquainted really well with someone, but it depends on who you meet, because in my RL examples I've seen both in equal amounts :P
